Overview
Verblex is an application for learning English irregular verbs that works fully offline. This policy explains what information the app handles, and — just as importantly — what it does not. As of September 2026, Verblex uses a limited, anonymous analytics service to understand overall app usage; see Analytics below for exactly what that involves.
Information We Do Not Collect
The app:
- Does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, or precise (GPS) location
- Does not require account creation, sign-up, or login
- Does not collect your name, email address, phone number, or other personally-identifying information
- Does not sell your data to anyone
- Does not show ads or use an advertising identifier
Analytics
Verblex uses Google Analytics for Firebase, a Google service, to understand overall app usage — for example, how many people use the app, which features are used, and how often lessons are completed. This helps us decide what to improve.
Firebase Analytics collects: app interaction events (such as screens viewed or lessons completed), basic device and app information (device model, operating system version, app version, language setting), and an approximate location derived from your IP address (typically city or region level, not precise GPS coordinates). Each installation is identified only by an anonymous, randomly generated app-instance identifier — never by your name, email, or any other personal information.
We do not enable Google's advertising features (such as Google Signals or personalized advertising) for this data, and Verblex does not use an advertising ID. Google processes this data according to its own privacy policy, available at policies.google.com/privacy.
Local Data Storage
Your learning progress, review statistics, settings, and any custom flashcards you create are stored locally on your own device only. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or to anyone else. Uninstalling the app, or clearing its data through your device settings, permanently deletes it.
Third-Party Services
Verblex uses Google Analytics for Firebase (see Analytics above) to understand app usage. It does not integrate any advertising or crash-reporting SDKs at this time. If this changes in a future update, this policy will be revised in advance to disclose exactly what is collected and by whom, with the change reflected here under a new "last updated" date.
Children's Privacy
Verblex does not knowingly collect personally-identifying information from any user, regardless of age. The analytics data described above is anonymous and aggregated, not tied to an individual's identity. The app does not include chat, social features, or any way to contact or be contacted by other users.
Data Security
Your learning progress and custom flashcards (see Local Data Storage above) are never transmitted anywhere and exist only on your device. The anonymous analytics data described above is transmitted to and processed by Google under its own security practices; we access it only through Google's aggregated reporting tools, never as raw individual records, and we do not operate any servers of our own.
Your Control Over Your Data
Your learning progress and flashcards live locally on your device and can be deleted at any time by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling Verblex — no request to us is needed. Analytics data is anonymous and not linked to your identity, so we're not able to look up or delete one individual's analytics history on request; uninstalling the app stops any further analytics from being sent.
Changes to This Policy
Any future changes to this policy will be published on this same page, with the "last updated" date revised accordingly. We recommend checking back periodically.
